I’m not gonna lie to you guys — this post has no specific topic and is going to be my scattered brain running all over the place. So, I apologize in advance. Hopefully you’ll stick around and read it anyway.
So I’ll start with how I excited I am about last week’s page view numbers! Like, OMG! This is crazy! So, the first week this blog had launched, Jetpack says I had 115 page views. The second week of this blog, Jetpack says I had 139 page views (which I was fine with, because that was a respectable increase in my mind). But you guys! For the third week of my blog, Jetpack says I had 260 page views! 260! That is just insane! That is almost double the week before! I just can’t even process that right now!
You guys apparently just loved my Blogger Men Tell All post where I took a moment to spotlight on my boyfriend. And now you’re starting to love the intro to my upcoming When Your Beliefs Clash series almost as much. The fact that I’ve gotten such a positive response on that post has been a HUGE relief for me. I was a nervous wreck about writing it and sharing it. The fact that everyone has been understanding and gets where I’m coming from is great, and I can’t say thank you enough!
I started out with a Tuesday/Thursday posting schedule, because I didn’t want to overwhelm myself with writing content to start with. However, after watching my page view trends the last few weeks, I’ve decided that’s not the best posting schedule for me right now.
I am keeping a twice a week posting schedule. However, I am shifting to posting on Mondays and Wednesdays. If you still show up on Tuesdays and Thursdays though, that’s fine. Because there will still be new content for you to view!
One thing that bummed me out about my previous posting schedule was that it prevented me from linking up Emily over at Ember Grey for her Grateful Heart Linkup on Mondays. This was a link-up that I had thoroughly enjoyed participating in while writing on my previous blog. And now that I’ve shifted posting schedules, I’m excited about the opportunity to participate in this again!
And a little update about my When Your Beliefs clash series. These are going to be very deep, very personal posts. As such, it’s going to take me a little bit of time with writing each one. So, please don’t get impatient with me. I’m going to aim for posting a piece of this series every 2-3 weeks (these will be Wednesday posts). So, look for the first post of the actually series either on June 10th or June 17th.
Thanks so much for everyone’s support so far and I hope you will continue to support me in this journey! And I look forward to getting to know all of you (and your blogs) better as well!
