So, I’m supper late on getting something written and posted today. But you’ll have to forgive me. I couldn’t use work time to write a post (like the bad little employee I’ve been being and doing), because I’m training my replacement this week! Yup, I’m leaving my job! I start a new job MUCH closer to home in two weeks. But seriously, more on that in the coming weeks.
In case you missed it, I had two really amazing posts last week:
- 1st was a quick note about my vacation. I’ll be sharing a couple of posts about in the coming weeks as well — both about the trip itself as well as on some things my mind was opened to while I was in Florida (yes, my title photo is from my trip). You can look forward to a general recap of the trip (fishing, scalloping, staying on the bay, etc) and a harsh look at some crappy customer service I experienced (and why I think customer service is so important).
- I also shared a poem I wrote years ago about what it feels like having depression and feeling suicidal. There’s a lot of talk about how suicide is selfish, but as someone that’s been there, I want people to understand that it’s really not as simple as that. And this was a follow-up post to what I shared the week before about recently being diagnosed with anxiety. Mental Illness is very real and very hard to deal with. So if you know someone struggling, be a friend and stand by them.
I’m sorry I don’t have more of a post for today. But again, I’m running SUPER short on time due to having JUST got back from vacation and now training my replacement at work. I promise to do better on Wednesday. 😀
And now for the really fun part….. I have partnered with Jenna from A Savory Feast and some of her wonderful friends to provide you with a chance to win $190 to Target! You can enter to win below. Be sure to visit and support all the lovely bloggers that have helped make this happen!
